Pokemon GO: Resolve Stuck Party Challenge Screen

Several Pokemon GO players have encountered a frustrating issue where the Party Play function freezes, leaving them stuck in the game. Despite attempting common troubleshooting steps like restarting the game or their device, and even resorting to reinstalling the app, users find no relief from this glitch. However, there's a simple workaround to tackle this problem head-on.

If you've dabbled in the Party Play feature, you're likely aware that each party remains active for just one hour. The key to resolving this dilemma lies in patience. Players must wait until their party session naturally expires, which typically takes an hour. Fortunately, this inconvenience is temporary, lasting only for the duration of the party.

During special events like the GO Tour, where party durations extend to eight hours, encountering this issue could be more problematic. However, some users have proposed an alternative fix, albeit a bit more complex. Rather than waiting, players can forcibly close the party. To do this, participants must distance themselves from the host until receiving a notification indicating they've strayed too far from the host's location. Subsequently, all members will be ejected from the party, and the host will be alerted of its termination. Once this occurs, players should find themselves able to resume gameplay seamlessly.

It's worth noting that this problem isn't new; it has plagued players in the past as well. As the community prepares for the challenging Primal Kyogre raid, this glitch with the party feature becomes particularly irksome. Whether Niantic addresses this issue before the raid or players must endure it remains uncertain. Nevertheless, players can employ these workarounds to ensure uninterrupted gameplay during critical moments.
