Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: O Chicken, Where Art Thou Side Quest Guide

To embark on the "O Chicken, Where Art Thou" side quest in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, head to the Community Noticeboard and accept the job. Once accepted, proceed to the marked location on the map. There, you'll meet Kazhra, who informs you that four of her chickens have gone missing and seeks your assistance in finding them. Opt to help her, and she'll provide you with a food clanger to lure the chickens back home.

As the quest unfolds, Red XIII will guide Cloud, utilizing his keen sense of smell to track down the elusive poultry. The initial chicken isn't far from Kazhra's vicinity, so follow Red XIII and use the food clanger to entice it back. The second chicken may have strayed a bit further, but its path is relatively straightforward. Be mindful of distractions along the way, indicated by a "?" above the chicken's head. Slow down until it reverts to "!"; otherwise, the chicken may lose interest.

The third chicken remains within the village, with Red XIII leading the way. Here, a new mechanic emerges with the appearance of a "…" symbol above the chicken, signaling its impending charge towards the food clanger. Time your clanger pull just as the chicken approaches for success. Finally, the last chicken awaits outside the village. Follow Red XIII to its location, where an enemy will appear. Defeat the foe, prompting the chicken to converse with Red XIII before returning home.

Upon completing the quest, return to the village and speak with Kazhra, who will express gratitude by unexpectedly cooking one of her chickens. As a reward for your efforts, players receive the following: Lucky Amulet, 10 Party EXP, 2,800 EXP, and an improved relationship with Red XIII.
