The journey begins by locating the manhole concealed behind the Gitter Gala building near Bloomridge Park. Interact with the manhole in the alleyway to descend into the murky sewers, embarking on your quest.

Navigating through the sewers can be treacherous, especially when dealing with Aelis, a formidable sorcerer stationed across the bridge. As you traverse through the greasy terrain, be cautious of slipping and falling. Consider using a spell or a potion of Grant Flight to safely cross this slippery area. Aelis is mourning his deceased friend Sarin and can be persuaded to let you pass through peacefully. However, beware that returning through this path may provoke Aelis and his allies, leading to a fiery confrontation as he ignites the grease on the ground.

Continuing your journey deeper into the depths, proceed down the stairs amidst more Mephits until you reach a large wooden door. Head north from there to locate the fast travel point for the Undercity Ruins at coordinates (X:-141, Y:941). Travel westward past the mute trader to uncover a hidden passageway descending further into the underground labyrinth.

Prepare yourself for the encounter in Mystic Carrion's Ancient Lair, where you'll encounter numerous chests scattered throughout the area. Beware, opening these chests will awaken mummies that will inflict Spell Rot on your entire party. Spell Rot causes damage to any creature casting spells. Defeat these mummies to progress and investigate the right side of the room to discover a hidden door, accessible through lockpicking.

Inside Mystic Carrion's lab, you'll find his brain placed on a table alongside a mutilated body, while his liver is secured within a locked gilded chest located to the left of the body.
