Managing Crew Stamina: A Guide for Swift Sailing in Skull and Bones

Crew Stamina in Skull and Bones

Stamina comes into play whenever we hoist the sails to their peak, and on the current vessel, there are various levels to reach. Check the gauge at the bottom right of the screen. If the sails hit the top and the gauge reads green, it means they're fully trimmed, offering maximum speed but draining the crew's stamina.

Once the crew exhausts their stamina, we won't maintain top speed until they recuperate. So, always keep that in mind while navigating the seas.

Increasing and Restoring Crew Stamina in Skull and Bones

To manage stamina effectively, we need to alternate between top speed and lower levels. Any sailing speed below maximum allows for swift movement and crew stamina recovery, especially handy for catching our breath after hectic battles, especially with the wind at our backs.

Eating Food

For an immediate stamina boost, the crew can devour cooked meals, rejuvenating their energy. Three food categories aid in this: raw ingredients like Flour, Shark Meat, and more offer a 25% stamina boost; grilled items can yield up to 60% stamina recovery. Cooked meals, crafted from assorted ingredients, not only restore stamina but also enhance stamina regeneration, repair kit efficiency, and decrease stamina consumption.

Ship Furniture

The furniture aboard our ship significantly impacts our crew's stamina:

  • War Drums: Reduce stamina consumption by 50% during combat sail trimming.
  • Water Tank: Cut stamina consumption by 50% when bracing, with a 20% stamina recovery boost.
  • Sterile Galley: Increase maximum stamina by 7%.
  • Leather Rope Grips: Lower stamina consumption by 15% during sail trimming.
  • Rum Pantry: Boost stamina recovery by 10%.

Pirate Bonfires

We can also replenish stamina by using Pirate Bonfires found in outposts. Interacting with these ignites the bonfire, granting a 20-minute stamina boost to us and our group after exiting combat within the outpost's vicinity.
